F2 Missile kommer snart att få hård konkurans.

Hi, just heard the following today:Exocet will show on the Paris boatshow a production speedneedle that will be available during febr-march 2005.
The board is a copy of one of the boards that Ben Vandersteen is using during the MOS.
If you imagine that Ben has broken the Dutch record and that he has reached already a top GPS speed of 47.5 knots, you will realise that this one will be fast.Great to see that speed is back, also with production boards available for all.
Finally, the F2 missile is getting some competition.
Want to see the board, go to the Paris boatshow next week starting 4 december.
If you can’t, I will be going and I will post some pictures when I’m back.If I understood correct, it will be an exact copy of the biggest board that Jean Marie is holding in his hands.
On the exocet website I have found:
The Speed prototypes dimensions are:
2,15m*34cm*3,1kg and 2,15m*38.5cm*3.2kgSo this would mean the board is going to be 38.5cm
Sounds a real needle to me.

Nej, det är freestyleseglarna som håller på och snurrar segel för att de inte vågar segla i full fart.

Full fart är väl synd att säga, ett freestyle kit går ju på mest på halvfart…. och med konstant spinnout… -
