swedish kiteboarder searched who has been to Costa
Hi guys,
Here a short story, i’m looking for a kiteboarder from sweden who has been to costa rica last november.
The thing is I met this guy and his friend in the plane to CR. We flew Martinair from Amsterdam to San Jose. He brought his kites and board and wanted to go to the north of CR. In the plane back, that’s end of november I met him again in the plane, he was alone now, his friend was staying longer in CR. He told me he had a great time, kited everyday etc etc. Just when the plane got airborne he fainted as told me later but because he was traveling alone nobody mentioned it. After half an hour he woke up and started to get realy sick and some Dutch dokters tried to help him. Unfortunately the plane had to return to the US to get this guy to the hospital asap. They saw me talking to this guy and thougt I was a friend of him so asked me to stay with him the rest of the time, man he was so sick, it looked like he could die any moment in the plane. It had something to do with his blood/heart I do not know.
After we dropped him in the US and I gave his backs (and cofee???) to the docters. After this I never heard anything anymore. I tried to get information from Martinair but the US is not allowed to give personal information.
So if anybody know something about this guy, I only know he is from Sweden, is round 26 years old, has been to CR in November 2004, has a Naish 12 meter X3 kite and brought a bag of CR cofee with him for his parents back home.

Is it Christian Bakker from Scheveningen writing? If it is, thanks for letting me and Anna stay at your house during the Siemens event.
Haven’t heard of any Swedish kiteboarder getting ill in Costa Rica, but I’ll ask around.
