STOLEN equipment!!!
I’m writing this message as part warning to you, but also as a heads up should you be offered any of MY stolen equipment.
My name is Thomas, and I’m a Danish citizen. For the last two weeks I have been on vacation. The day before yesterday I went to the attic/loft to put away my suitcase. There I discovered that thieves had broken into my loft room and had stolen all my kites and some scuba equipment – they left my board untouched since it’s an outdated model!
What they have done is to gain access to the stairway (1 locked door). Then they have kicked in the door to the loft (1 locked door) and finally the have broken into my room there (another locked door). So through THREE locked doors in total.
Thay only broke into my room, so they knew exactly what they were looking for. I have had one of these kites put for sale on kitesurferen.dk and then they have obtained my address through the add. We have a strong kiteboarding community in Denmark so I think they will have a hard time selling it here.
