  Hi there,

  There’s already quite a few reviews of the Nova2’s out there (on kiteforum.com, flysurf.com, kitesurfstuff.com…)
  But here’s some additional info.
  I just spent 2 weeks in Egypt with the Nova2 7 & 12.
  As there were only a few hours where the wind was getting really strong I used the 12 almost exclusively.
  Can’t say much about the low-end as the wind was never really below 15 knots. On one day though, a guy was out on a Rhino4 16 and I was able to match his speed and upwind course. He did seem slightly chunkier than me though. A safe comparison on low-end would be a 14m C-shape at least. Stability is really good, even in strong winds when your’re blasting along the kite just stays where you park it, with minimal input needed. You do feel the bar twitch a bit from left to right and back with the gusts, but still the kite stays where you want it.
  Upwind is a matter of point and shoot. You just point your board to where you want to go upwind and the kite takes you there.
  Waves… well I didn’t see any waves in Egypt. The kite is easy to turn when you’re doing gybes and follows you nicely when you do some turns on the swell. But as I said, no real waves in sight, so I can’t really comment on that.
  Then there’s the jumping. I’m really a beginner at jumping, but if you get the timing right this kite just takes you to the moon. You can jump ’normal’ and then you get some nice floaty jumps or for added thrills you can pull in the bar just as you take off and then you really feel the kite pulling you out of the water and into the air. It’s difficult to estimate for yourself, but looking down I noticed the water was farther away than I had ever seen. Just don’t get scared and let go off the bar…
  Quality of construction and accessories is top-notch. Thick leaders, thick bridle lines, one-pump (makes a lot of people jealous), NTS, floaters that hold your lines in place when wrapped …
  All in all, I really like it and have felt it helped me progress significantly these past two weeks.
