Use your bloody brains…
Ok this relivant to any spot, anywhere, this isnt just relivant to ribban, habo, varberg, näset or anywher that there has been an OPENLY DISCUSSED issue with people riding around people Swimming.
We are all guilty of it.. its like speeding in the car.. you ride that one wave a little longer than you should, or you wait a little longer before tacking to gain that little extra height.
I have just been on the phone with Länsstyrelsen and was chatting to a really cool chick there actually.. she is into scuba, and heaps of other cool stuff, one of which is swimming. She told me about a day only just a few weeks ago where she was in Ljunghusen and counted 20 kites on the water.. she felt totally insecure that riders could see her swimming in the waves and wasnt sure as to how much we could control what direction we were riding in. It wasnt a complaint.. far from it.. she just wanted me to hear how it was for a non-kiter to be in the water with us.
Seriously, if there people in the water swimming.. just give them a bit of space.. if its windy enough for us to be out, its only the hardcore folks that will be in the water for any long period of time : ).. and you never know they may work for;
