  Kiting in Skane (Malmo)

  Hey everyone,

  I recently moved to Malmo and am new to the scene here and am still trying to scope out the best spots. So far I have found Lagan, Landskrona & Lomma to be quite good when the wind is westerly or westerly, but that’s pretty much the extent of my knowledge of the area.

  I’m sure there are plenty of other spots, but I have no idea where they are. Any suggestions? I would also love to find out where the best places to go are when the wind is easterly.

  Welcome!!

  Depending of what you like we have a bunch of different spots pretty close to malmoe.
  If you like flat water the choice is habo ljung (lomma) in winds from SW,W,NW and lundåkra (landskrona) in E,SE,S.
  If you Are more into waves we have different spots around Skanör/Falsterbo in winds from SE,S,SW,W,NW. You can also go to the eastcoast for waves in Esterly winds.
  Just take a look in the kitesurfing konfen to see where people are going for the day. If its windy it´s always people in Habo Ljung or Lundåkra depending on the direction.
