Soft board
Bought this board to teach my son to surf. The TT was not working very well….and seriously dangerous.
Going to try it out with the kite too.

Måste vara sjukt fladdrigt utan fenor?

hoppas det inte är totalskit utan fenor, köpte en skim för en månadsedan höll på att dö då jag testade den förra veckan totalt livsfarligt!!
skall testa att köra den som lättvindsaltenativ.. det är ju bara en plywoodskiva så det borde väl gå att montera fena i värsta fall?! -

Svårt att se railsen på bild men jag misstänker att de är rätt boxy och kan bli lite svår att kanta kryssa med kite? Allt funkar men nog inte optimal.
Är man duktig är det ju bara att anpassa sin åkning och Bill Bryan visar ju att den kan funka rätt fint!

That´s the ONE! Köpte den för grabben- kostade 250 usd. Han vill surfa och jag ska tar ut honom i beachbreaken utan han riskerar att få huvudet eller benen av klippt av en TT.
Den är inte heller så styv.
Det finns en version som har fenor, men tänkte det tar inte många minuter tills dem blir kört av i beachbreak med en 5 åring.
Han kan skimma på den Oxå.
Kan inte motstå att vissa bilden av mig på skimboard av egen tillverkning 1967. Jag är 7 år då. Skate bilder är ifrån 1973 på min Junior High School. Oxå den brädan är Himmagjort.

fenor är för meser, speciellt när d kommer till skimborad, då blir genast allt helt meningslöst!!!! ungefär som att köra vågbräda me starps

Those skim shots were taken by my sister- so she must have used a kodak snapshot camera.
The skate shots were taken with my Yashica 2 1/4 inch mirror reflex camera, with roll film. I developed the film, made the prints in the darkroom my Dad and I built a few years earlier. I only have the prints left.
Apparently the Dog Town boys were doing their thing over in Santa Monica around the same time. Of course we had no idea- and we skated in the west valley, hitch-hiked to surf out at the Malibu Points so we never got rocks thrown at us by those dudes from the the SM pier. The waves sucked down there anyway, still do. I only learned about the DT boys a few years ago when a colleague loaned me the DVD.
Those pics bring so much back. I try to remember only the good shit that went down, but sometimes its hard to push the other shit back into the corners of your mind. Like what happened to the dude that was holding the camera.
