Now back on track then. I still feel that the temp range of the drysuit (at least the non-neoprene ones) is remarkable since i find that it complements a full 3mm wetsuit. At least if the weather is relatively fine. Very windy and only +10 to +15 celsius, with no sun, then the wetsuit is not enough though and I then go for my drysuit.
kay09 hope this gives you some idea how a drysuit will feel and how you can use it.
BTW the GUL suits are fine but the Ocean Rodeo ones are better still. Further the Ocean Rodeo can be specially ordered. With or without latex socks, neopren seal or latex seals, and even taylor fitted.
Yann is right though about the danger of a rip in the suit. I have not had one and hopefully never will.

hahaha this is awesome, everyone writing in english, now you dont all seem foreign to me anymore.. and what can I say, poking one anothers ribs over a drysuit discussion, thats just awesome, I missed this : )
I dont like how my drysuit gives me a cameltoe and the heels drag in the water.

Nejdå, i det vädret (+10 till +15, 12-15 m/s, mulet) är den perfekt med endast ett superunderställ. Kom ihåg att själva dräkten inte har nån värmeförmåga alls, nästan, utan endast underställen. När man har så lite under så blir det extra bra rörlighet.
Iof nu pratar jag om vår- och höstväder då vattnet fortfarande är kallt på våren och på hösten kan det va rätt ruggigt även om det är +10 till +15 grader.

Xcel infiniti 6/5/4 för isflakscruise (det GÅR inte att frysa i denna dräkten)
sen köper du bara nåt hyffsat billigt typ 4/3a långärmad för de vanliga dagarna och kanske en shorty på clas ohlson för de riktigt varma dagarna.
ju varmare det är desto billigare skit kan de va, det är bara när det är riktigt kallt som de e lönt å inte ha hål etc.
så, lägg pengar på en dyr å bra vinterdräkt du aldrig fryser i. Köp sedan diverse strödräkter för att matcha upp de hele.
ser inte varför man skulle behöva torrdräkt?

I dunno why you guys go on about the XCEL, the suit is total overkill for summer use.. I have had my 4/3 crossfire two years now, and in the winter I use the mystic metalite full length vest under it and it works perfect, and, I dont need to own two suits.

I agree the Xcel infiniti 654 is total overkill if you just want ONE suit.
Are you still hot when changing back to normal clothes after hours in the water who is filled with ice bergs and it’s snow in the air? 🙂 If that thing works when it’s really cold, it sounds like a really good setup-

köp ingen torrdräkt!!!! köp en xcel infinity 654mm eller billabong solution gold 654mm eller oneill psycho 2 654mm eller rip curl 654mm. alla med inbyggd huva. fan så mycket bättre än alla torrdräkter.

yeah sorry… nah, we dont think the drysuit is worth the effort, even a full on wintersuit isnt what you need back home. Although, there are plenty of awesome suits out there. Most importantly would be to ignore Ludde because noone has seen him kiting this year…. 😛
