Bjorn Dunkerbeck’s next attempt on the speed record is set for Jan/Feb 2007 with his World Speed Sailing Challenge 2007. The location is to the East of Salina de Cruz, in the Oaxaca state of Mexico. More details here http://www.hgs.at/wss/News/details.aspx?id=66 GPS coordinates for Google Earth are 16° 15 North 95° 00 West. It is on the Pacific Coast in the Gulf of Tehuantepec. Predominat wind is from the North funnelled down between the mountains. fattar inte hur man petar in kordinater i google (det kanske inte går :blush: )
men jag letade fram dom kordinater du anger för hand och hittade det här :tongue:
och det ser ju kanon ut innanför sandrevet
såg en liknande bild på sandy point och det ser ju också helt sjukt bra ut -
Sandy point verkar ha ganska korta sträckor jämfört med Dunkens ställe som verkar vara uppåt milen…
