”This new swell is a west-northwest swell that will give us another bout of large surf. With this much of a westerly component, we should get pretty big surf in Kona and in Kihei, down to Wailea-Makena,” he said.
HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR NORTH AND WEST FACING SHORES
Surf along north facing shores, will rise to heights of 15 to 17 feet, with occasional sets to 22 feet Friday.Surf along west facing shores, will rise to heights of 8 to 12 feet, with occasional sets to 15 feet Friday.
Surf along east facing shores will be 4 to 6 feet Friday.
Surf along south facing shores will be 2 to 4 feet through Friday.
