Leading edge: 0 – underwater rock: 1Picked up a cheap bow kite (Eclipse Chameleon ’07) from a guy who couldn’t get the bridle adjusted right. Fixed it up yesterday – but decided I’d sell it on – prefer my slightly older bow. One minute left of extra time, on my way in, I decided to downloop the kite to untwist the lines. Something went wrong and I ended up a kite 180 onto a rock 2cm below the surface. Doh! What kind of prices for a fix and where to get it done? (Drakakuten in Gbg is not active any more.) I’ve done big canopy repairs myself. I recon I could do this too – but I’d need some tips on the best way to do it. Anyone got any advice? Cheers
Davep.s. if anyone is interested in buying the broken kite off me drop me a line.
The kite is a 13m bow and has good pull. According to the previous ower it has been used about 10 times so is in great shape otherwise. Lines and bar look perfect.
