Men’s Freestyle Final Results:
1) Aaron Hadlow (Flexifoil, UK)
2) Kevin Langeree (Naish, Netherlands)
3) Youri Zoon (Slingshot, Netherelands)
4) Mikael Blomvall (JN Kites, Sweden

Mikael Blomvall next. Both rode with very technical and powerful styles, egging each other on throughout the heat. Mike edged out the win with slightly smoother style and more variety of technical tricks, stomping a huge aerial back to blind to start the heat, followed by a slim, a fat chance (switch of slim), double front to blind, an L3 and his signature mobe.

Another close heat followed against Alvaro Onieva. Each matched an arsenal of moves, however, Mike performed with more power, went bigger and was smoother overall. Now tired after the four previous heats, Mike continued to give it his all, but was no match for the rested Youri Zoon. Zoon fired off an amazing 20 tricks in his 7 minute heat, averaging a trick every 21 seconds, riding powered and popping high with the kite low for, to list just a few, a front mobe, a mobe 5, a blindjudge360
