Ny Starboard Formula 186, 100 cm

Swein Rasmussen was just here on Maui, and we talked about the 2002 line some. The 155 and 175 will be discontinued in 2002 (although there is sure to be some inventory available into 2002). Both boards are being eclipsed by the 186, which is the 100cm new version of the Formula. This will be the only Formula in the line for 2002.I understand the reasoning for this, although I think it’s a shame to discontinue a great board like the 155. A 186 is not practical for a place like Maui, so I’ll be hanging on to my 155 indefinitely! For the rest of the world the 186 is a great innovation and sure to be the board to beat in 2002 (the Starboard team, including Wotjek Brzozowski, will be racing the 186 in Tarifa at the 2001 World Championships).
