Reef-proof kites?
Jag läste just en rätt galen tråd på Kiteforum som involverar en kite som jag gillar väldans möe.
The kite was down too far on the side of the window to get me out of there and i got smashed by another huge wave. it flipped me over and while upsidedown my board went flying and i smashed the back of my head into some reef. I seriously thought I was dead, just another statistic.
The kite lines ended up getting snagged on the reef and I couldn’t get them free, constantly getting smashed into the reef I did the only thing I could do: release it. I unhooked, and figured it would either fly away or smash itself to death on the reef. I hung on to the kite and floated there for a couple minutes to get my bearings before I made the mile – mile and a half swim to shore. I couldn’t stay out there forever, so I made a swim for it…

waaah shit, I have only thought of ditching my kite once, and even then I wasnt sure if I really wanted to….

Unstoppable force? Hehe, det räcker ju med att hala fram the beer bong så är du fucking far from unstoppable.
Remmen, du får ta och krascha lite hårt framför stenpiren i Läjet så kanske du får anledning att testa releasen och kanske rent av se hur prylarna funkar i kombinationen vågor/sten =)

actually when u mention it, lina disapeared for about 30min, just about 15 min after you passed out.. then she was in a good mood all evening..

Man i fell asleep in Landvetter and woke up in Lithuania, Vilnius…wtf happened there..so anyways you don’t happen to know if it’s possible to kite here? Looks pretty windy right now…peace -

Nu kan jag tillägga att Cult inte bara är reef-proof utan även taggsnårsproof:
Jag gav mig på att köra en vansklig självlandning idag eftersom jag var ensam på land och inte orkade hämta hundpålen. Vinden var jävligt byig och överraskade mig genom att dansa in kiten i powerzone just när jag hade ryckt i styrlinan för att kiten skulle lägga sig. När kiten ville flyga ut ur powerzone visade det sig att jag lyckats få styrlinan att sno sig runt bommen nära chickenloopen så hela rasket körde igång med en deathloop.
Just innan jag skulle rycka chickenloopen kraschade kiten rakt ned i ett stort jävla snår och när jag kom närmare såg jag buskens feta taggar. Det var en taggbuske modell elak som jag prickat och kiten satt rätt hårt i busken. Jag var helt övertygad om att kiten skulle vara redo för skroten. När jag till slut fick loss den såg jag hur en tagg satt i LE men den hade inte penetrerat tyget så jag klarade mig utan punka. Allt som allt klarade jag mig undan med ett litet litet hål i duken och tre dumskallepoäng. Snyggt.
