Tabou Surfboards and Matt Pritchard form Alliance
Effective immediately, Matt Pritchard and Tabou Surfboards will begin working together for the next years. Tabou Surfboards specializes in producing high performance windsurfing boards. Matt Pritchard is a top professional windsurfer competing on the PWA world tour. This new duo will be bringing you the latest and greatest in windsurfing performance.
Tabou Surfboards has been under the Bic Sport umbrella for the past years and now has separated itself to take on a new and independent identity. Designer Fabien Vollenweider is known for his extraordinary shapes and has been one of the leaders in board development for many years.
“I am extremely excited to begin working with Tabou and Fabien. I’m confident his shapes will suit my style and we can begin to develop new boards that will be easier to sail, rip harder on the wave, and get planning before anybody else” said Pritchard. Look for Matt to be sporting his new boards this month in the Canaries, shooting for the PWA Super X World Title.
Shaper/ Owner Fabien Vollenweider said, “Matt is an exceptional sailor and a very good ambassador for the sport of windsurfing. With Matt’s input, we are sure to have some incredible designs as well a solid image within the sport.”
