Toro2??
Är det någon som vet något om North drakar??
Toro2 är det lite mindre AR på och således lite mer lätthanterlig men kommer man sakna egenskaperna att ta mer höjd och kunna flyga högre, och tröttna?? Eller är det värt detta för att man klarar att vattenstarta och vindregistret är större? Självklart är det beroende på var man tänkt köra…Stockholm mest o där kanske det är bra med en mer förlåtande drake (byigt).Är det någon som kört med denna (Toro2) drake?
Jag kan kanske få loss någon ny billig sådan…Varför inte köra med Naish X10 som har ett AR på 10? För svårt eller?

Toro2 verkar vara en schysst nybörjardrake, snabb, lätthanterlig och lätt att vattenstarta mm. Inte samma tryck som det normalt är i Northdrakarna och som kräver att man kör dom helt rätt, men en bra kite.

Den har fått väldigt bra kritik i pressen. Det är dock ingen ren nybörjardrake, snarare intermediate till expert. Vill du ha en nybörjardrake skall du köpa North’s Buster.

safety’s are everywhere on the bar. 2 on main loop, but the cover around the safety comes apart with too much ease.
Chicken loop, manual depower on one front line and the safety on the other. The plastic clip that holds onto the safety is a bit cheap and could easily seeing it break trying to hold onto a big kite. In general the sceptor bar that comes with it is great.
I can say that I am happy with the kite and will help me progress much further.
… ”” … Today I compared my 16m Toro2 with a 2003 15.5 Lift. Handling between these kites was identical in bar pressure and turning speed. The Toro2 was more stable parked overhead. The Lift would turn right or left quicker without hands on the bar. The Toro2 is stable as a rock. Riding, the Toro2 had a little more power. The feel of the wind is where these kites differ. The Toro2 made the wind feel like smooth butter. The Lift made the wind feel punchy. A significant difference. Upwind and kite speed were similar. It was hard to feel any difference there. Where the kites rode in the window was about the same.
The Toro2 is welcome surprise in kites for 2003. It has very high performance in a very easy to use and fun package. You will jump very high with little skill using this kite. Prepare to get big air!
Kite construction, the Toro2 is a step ahead. It has heavier canopy material up front where canopys get cut easy from abrasion on the beach.
Water relaunching is easy. The apsect is high, but not so high the kite folds and twists into knots like some kites when they fall. An important feature for those learning to kite. … ”
