Maybe you are taking the quote out of context. I think it was a discussion of the front-line vs fifth-line safety on the new speeds, not about the quick release. The video was posted as evidence of that the speed-3 front-line safety works fine in higher winds (which it doesn’t on the speed 2 where a fifth line is preferred). Too much information. It was good this afternoon in Kungsbacka fjord. I was on the Onsala side again. Went in by Jontes bryggan. The snow was OK close to shore. Not gusty at all. Went over some slushy areas though. Probably shouldn’t be out there alone…
