kom igen bjud på några spots!

) ger några riktigt bra och detaljerade tips om gotland och jag har inte hittat några andra bra sidor heller.
och nu är det bråttom! om jag får plats på båten blir det av att åka till gotland i början av nästa vecka.
Så var fan kör man? har dessutom hört att man ska hålla sig undan från de höga klipporna när man vindsurfar eftersom vindarna kan bli riktigt konstiga där. -
nautix har nåt dom kallar ”kit for boom grip” på sin sida. snacka med en surf affär,borde gå att ordna.jag gjorde en tillfällig lagning på en bom för ett tag sen med en ganska kraftig väv tejp som används som skavsårs tejp och liknande. trodde att det skulle gå upp direkt, inte tåla vatten osv. men det är tvärtom jävligt bra. riktigt bra grepp,dock inte lika mjukt som vanligt grepp och så ser det kanske lite fult ut med den vita tejpen på den svarta bomen, men vem bryr sig? bara det funkar så är det bara att dra ut o köra.

hur mycket brukar det blåsa när sjöbrisen sätter igång?( i m/s, segelstorlek är ju olika för olika personer.)

Har för mig att såna där medel är rätt dyra… -
det går väl. inte optimalt men nog fan funkar det om man inte är den största prylbögen i stan.
Har gjort det själv på ett lite äldre segel. funkar bra och har inte haft några som helst problem.
Dessutom kan jag tillägga att prylhetsen har fått sig en ordentlig knäck tack vare det här seglet från 95. Det är inget problem att hänga på folk med nyare segel, tre cambers men inga som helst problem att rigga som det brukar tjatas så mycket om. Stoppar man in masten så sitter den där den ska.
Prylhetsen leder ju i och för sig till utveckling men det får andras plånböcker sköta. Sälj era beggade segel till mig!

Because surfing means more for him than a hobby like football. For him it’s a way of life. You really have to love that guy because in the following weeks / month or years you have to get to used to several things.
In the future you will need a maid. Even if you have cleaned up the flat you’ ll find kilos of sand because he has to clean his wetsuit in your bathroom. Your maid won’t have enough time for the flat, she also has to tidy up your garage. Since you are in love with that surfer tons of sails, boards, mast booms and other stuff lays around.
Things you do in the sparetime will change. You won’t go to theatre anymore. Your sweetheart thinks on a saturdaynight one can borrow a nice DVD instead. Films like Point break with Keanu Reeves or Patrick Swayze are prefered. Of course those films don’t have a brilliant story but pictures of giant waves.
When you go to a travel agency he won’t book a trip to interesting places like Rome, London or Paris. Why not? There’s no water. Perhaps you might get him to Venice but maybe he’ll blame you by surfing in the Canale Grande. In Wintertime he will be gone. While you sit in the office he stays on Hawai or in South Africa. From time to time you get a postcard, saying that he has no time to miss you because he is training a lot.
Spending a nice day at the beech? No way. If there is wind he will be on the water and if it’s not windy enough he wishes to bee on the water.
Often your surfing boyfriend will say: Baby, don’t wait for me. Are you busy at the office? No, it’s windy. Oh, yes for sure.
And last but not least you won’t own a pretty fast sports car. You’ll have a transporter or station wagon to put his stuff in it. That vehicle will be sandy as well.
But girls and women on the other hand I can promise: He will always have beautiful brown skin, muscles – especially strong arms to hold you if he is not surfing… And you don’t have to worry that he once might wear a tie and suit. He probably will still look handsome when he is 50 years old. And I can promise you another thing. If you listen to him talking for hours with his friends about his new Deboichet-Fin or carbon-boom it makes him proud if you listen to him carefully. And besides you will get used to his question Did you see me on the water. My new move was great, wasn’t I?
And If you should ever quit the relationship you will ask the new man in your life Do you play football or are you a surfer?

när jag kollar så låter det faktiskt mer som om det är för att seglet ska vara enklare att hanskas med, inte lika beroende av rätt trim osv. Bedöm själv:
V8 StreetRacerWe’ve actually done a complete re-design of the V8 StreetRacer for this season. We’re not changing the actual on water character of the sail, it’s still our most powerful, early planing, flat water blasting sail.
Obviously the first thing people will notice is there’s no Shear Tip. I’ll explain more about that later, but with the Shear Tip gone, you’ll see we’ve now added a batten above the boom and there’s now two battens below the boom. What this means is, we’re balancing the basic characteristics of the sail.
You’ve got plenty of low-end grunt, which we get with the two battens below the boom. Then by adding a batten above the boom in place of the Shear Tip, we also have a sail that gives the kind of stable, racing sail kind of performance once it’s powered-up and motoring.
The V8 Street Racer is really the ideal sail for the weekend racer. This is for the person who wants performance and speed without the really fine-tuned Formula-One issues you start getting into with the RX class of sails. I’m sure you could happily compete on a national level with today’s Street Racer.The simplicity factor is always there though with the V8. You’ve got three cams, you’ve got the narrow luff sleeve, which makes it much easier for waterstarts. We’re using the new Luff Glide material there too, to make it nice and easy to slide in the mast. And now we’ve also designed-out the Shear Tip, so you have less to worry about there with adjusting, tuning and maintenance.
You’ll see we’ve introduced this new double luff panel on all three of the new 2001 slalom sails. There are a couple of reasons for this. Firstly it allows us to incorporate a little more resilient material into an area of the sail that gets a lot of wear during rigging.
Secondly, there’s a lot of load dispersal going on in this area of the sail, with loads running from the tack and the head. We use the second luff panel to help us with load dispersal in this critical area.
Dom gör ju bra segel så jag tror inte du har något att oroa dig för. dessutom borde det finnas riktigt många som kört med tipen några säsonger som du skulle kunna fråga.

dom har haft en del problem tydligen. läs om det på deras sida, tryck på gamla segel och sen letar du fram den modellen av v8 där de la av med shear tipen, där har jag för mig att jag läst det.
Björn (segelmakarn) hade ett och annat och säga om den där konstruktionen när jag snackade med honom om det.
jaiken har två stycken segel med shear tip, v8 och diablo, och de verkar funka helt ok. Om du köper ett begagnat så kontrollera att tipen är ok. det ska gå att få tag på reservdelar. -
Har också ett äldre racesegel. Det fladdrar ordentligt när man får upp farten, speciellt om man är överriggad.
Seglet verkar inte ta någon skada och dessutom blir fartkänslan bättre med lite flax i seglet.
På mitt freeride segel från förra året finns det inga såna tendenser. -
Kan bara konstatera att det inte blåser så mycket nu.
jag tappade surfkänslan någonstans igår och tog med mig ett ganska jobbigt huvudvärk hem istället.
Chansen finns kanske för sjöbris, hoppas den kommer sent så man hinner vakna… -
