Good find Matthais,shame that he doenst really say much in the vid, but its always nice to see the man talking on cam : )
I was actually a little bummed when I heard that he was stepping back, but I spoke to Nick while he was in Oz and apparently Ben will be focusing more on his movie career and it was a plus if he could do that for any brand with any gear : )
All is not lost it seems : )

I actually think you have the best HD on the market for the job right now.. but the next in line options after that are probably….
– Countour HD (it has less of a fisheye effect, still fixed lens though)
– Pretty much anything in a home made water houseThe problem with the other ”waterproof” solutions out there where the camera itself has seals, seems to be that as soon as you start to abuse the camera with waves crashing over it etc… then it drops its seals and commits suicide.
If you hit mediamarkt you can go open some flaps and see how flimsy they are : ( If you can pretty much keep it dry and only use the waterproofing as a backup for ”oh shit I dropped it” instead of something you rely on, then I would say that the Lumix that Mjers and Wakeniels bought would be the best with massive wideangle to a decent zoom

hey mate, well done on the kite : )
I am not saying this will happen, but.. the loop where the pump normally goes isnt really designed to take a 5th line, and I have seen it rip the kite in half… (although it was an EH… it was one of the habolocals that did it)
The kite should work just as awesome without it.. but I am sure the caution guys can correct me if it has been re-enforced to take a 5th line.

haha I totally thought it was a flysurfer.. I was interested in doing this last summer, to get a cert costs only about 8k, and a second hand rig etc costs about 15, so its not as expensive as I thought actually, shame the only place we can do it in skåneland is in Österlen : (
