hahah… sure the helix loos different, but to be honest I dont think its anything revolutionary to fly.. its just a good kite, its definitely not a kite you fly and think ”what the fuck have I been doing all my life”, its a good kite… and thats it : )
As for relaunch, well I am sure there are people that struggle to get it outta the water.. especially in waves, but no more than any other kite is hard to get outta waves, so it has Good relaunch.. not awesome face melting relaunch… good relaunch! : )
so its all good.. lets end the discussion there.

I dont think there is anything wrong with having a good flatwater kite and a good wave kite for storms. I know that they say it doesnt happen but it always feels to me like the 9 gets more money and development than the 12 and works so much better. So whatever works best for you really : )

The price doesnt bother me at all to be honest, I dunno why there is so much crying… to do this solo would cost me 400kr (tur/retur me bilen) for bridge, plus gas and a pair of shoes for GF to pick me up haha.. then lunch in DK another 100 kr, I would have to buy her lunch too, so x2… then possibly a day at louisana to make good (the colour in art exhibition is fucking AMAZING) 400kr… (redtext)
Honestly though.. the main thing for me is that its an event with a bunch of people I know and love from the beach, because thats what is really makes kiteboarding so much more awesome for me than dirtjump or MX. Awesome company is worth more than the cost of the event, and thats the only thing I am interested in : ) work hard alone, play harder with the guys.
I just got home fron the pub too : ) police are awesome.

the picture is actually kinna fooling you a little… those legs are not going to be there when its in the water.. we are flying over a bunch of russian midget strongmen that will stand in the water, turn the slider due to wind conditions and obviously raise and lower the beam depending on weather conditions..
The guys were going to put them in the photo, but there has been a problem with their visa’s… shame….

Hi dude, stick with it.. sure in the first couple of months you will have a bit of a harder time than you would with a DOOR, but heck you will be much better for it afterwards. Your kitecontrol and lightwind technique will be fucking awesome and then you can move onto carving turns on waves or transitions without having to look for new gear etc..
If you feel like you are getting stuck and need advice, just ask anyone on the beach or in here : )
Just get out there and ride the shit outta your gear man : )

its a bit early for Heracleum sibiricum and Heracleum mantegazzianum but we do have them in habo. It sounds more like you had cold feet and didnt feel what actually did the damage and perhaps its a little infected. Either way its best to hit the doctor and get some antibacterial advice… and some antidepressants because it just started fucking raining here.

hmm I dunno about the Helix being the easiest kite to relaunch ever ever haha… deltakites should be in theory easier to relaunch because of the shape in their leading edge (the kite is already half launched with no input, the seagull still has to get up on one wing)
The bridles on the naish kites do make them a nighmare if things get messy in the waves, it has been my only complaint about the kites (other than the onepump) the bridles are pretty long compared to other brands, but in all fairness, every kite with bridles can have this problem.
its just a case of whatever you are used to.. I have used the rippehr in the kiteschool, with no relaunch problems… its just getting to know your gear and finding the right balance of pressure on the line in relaunch.
There is no thing as shit gear these days, just prettier gear. I would say that the LF (sle) kites do come back outta the water reaaaaly easily though.
