If you are prepared to travel then Habo is the best spot really, its superflat so you are not bouncing around trying to get up on the board with waves crashing over your head (one of the reasons we dont do ktiecourses on the eastcoast). Its also shallow for a LONG distance from the beach, so when you are training you are in no danger of hitting anything hard or hurting other beach-users (the other reason we dont do kitecourses on the eastcoast).
Jönkoping is pretty damn far from here though, so you will be looking at booking a course in Gothenberg or Öland.. you could kill two birds with one stone and book a lesson while the sweden kite tour is on and get some party, and a roadtrip all in one : )

holy shit! haha that sounds pretty insane, you were right to ask though.. it works, but there is a lot that can go wrong.
When I go out by myself, I use a carabina and connect my chickenloop to anything solid (normally the landrover) then I go to the kite and hold it at the edge of the window just like if I was launching someone else..
then I just let it sit there at the edge of the window standing on its tip while I go back and hook up…
the same for landing but in reverse.
I hear that dog hooks work well in solid ground as well : )
