Agreed, I think if they changed the format from a two day tournament to like a 6 trick best run event like cable it would get alot more attention (I never want to see a blind judge in a contest again). hold qualifiers so that only 10 riders get into the main event. the riders would line up at the upwind side of the contest area and one at a time get to ”drop in” and throw down 3 tricks on the way out and 3 on the way back in and thats a run, judged with a 1-100 score averaged from all the judges. If you fall your run is over. Each rider could get like 3 runs. Throw in a mandatory rail and kicker hit in between tricks and shit will hit the fan. This would make it so the spectators could focus on an hour long absolute throw down show instead of sitting around for two days watching every competitor throw mobe/front mobe/slim/kgb/blind judge/313 all day with no style cuz they have to land in chop and land it like 10 times in a day to make it through all the heats.

The video footage also needs to be in a real event format like when you watch the X games, live play by play, not a bullshit highlight reel were a lot of the riding isn’t even from a live heat. Even if they don’t make the change I mentioned above it would still go a long way to only film the finals and present it in play by play format so people could start seeing who beat who and what exactly is beating what side by side. That is the only reason to be interested in contests in the first place.

I also think the number of events that crown the champion should be reduced to like 3 contest, like windsurfing, in places that will allow for the highest level of riding (good wind and flat water/kickers) so that you don’t have to have a trust fund or a red bull sponsorship to compete for a world ranking. Having 10 events just kills the quality of each event. Imagine if there was just one contest to crown the king, everyone and their mother would show up and the sponsorship and hype for the event would be through the roof. Then you take the 40k they have for 10 events and put it into one and you have a 400k purse so that more competitors are actually able to cover the expenses of getting there. More competitors = more competition = higher level of riding so that the world tour can actually start showcasing the highest level of riding in the world.

AND OF COURSE BOOTS ONLY!!! IF YOU CAN’T THROW YOUR SHIT IN BOOTS YOU DON’T DESERVE TO CALL YOURSELF A PRO YOU UNDERPOWERED PUSSY DANGLERS.

Sen skrev jag ”except for this wonderkid” och med det menar jag att jag skiter i om han kor med boots, strops eller grovkangor. Han far det att se bra och inspirerande ut.

Jag kollar jag knappt pa straps videor langre men jag gillar inte dom som aker i straps mindre for det, straps ar vall minst lika roligt som boots??!
Nastan alla jag kajtar med kor straps och vi pushar varrandra lika mycket for det. Sen far dom skit for att kom kor med straps och jag far lika mycket skit tillbaka..
