Antar att smaken é som baken men skönt med riktigt objektiva rider comments, måste jag ändå säga
(Inte alldeles oväntat tycker de som redan har spons att deras märken är betydligt bättre!)Så länge mina kunder är nöjda är jag nöjd… Man kan ju också fundera över det faktum att alla KOBRA som gjorts sålts slut omgående. Kanske vet syd-européerna nåt som inte EH-Rambo känner till… Fast man får väl ändå tacka för kvalitets-komplimangen!

The pressure on the bar will be a question of rider background and habit. I was almost certain that the rider you talked about was used to North kites from what you had said. It is strange as some people find our kite rather soft.
Technically there are many sides to this perception:
* The force to sheet in
* The force to turn sheeted in
* The force to turn sheeted
* The reaction to a movement of the bar and
* The progression of the force to induce a turnI can also add the feedback you get from the kite while turning.
To satisfy every taste on all those points is very difficult so I wanted a kite that gave a lot of confidence in the air with a very progressive turn that did not create an extra boost at unexpected times and a constant feedback of were the kite is at any given time.
I am satisfied with the result. I feel the kite turns well in the upper wind range when there is not much tension in the opposite back line. Also, it’s quite easy to sheet in.
The only time I feel the kite is rather hard is in low wind, during transitions.
I know of one rider that is using a longer bar (58cm) with successful results. My goal was to reproduce the same turning characteristics with the same bar on every kite size. It is always possible to build in better turning but it will be at a cost, I am not going to go through the comparison with other brands and I know this kite will not appeal to everybody.
It’s furthermost strong-points are:
(1) Huge lift even in the lower wind rang and (2) lots of feed back, so one can do the usual tricks at much higher altitude in an exceptionally wide wind range. This has already convinced many VERY good riders to use our kites.

I am a bit confused
where you are going with this (I thought we were through this as you are no longer a Diablo rider)??? I read the review that you are referring to (signed Joel) and it very much coincides with my standpoint that you have to be very sensitive of the kites AoA as far as maintainaing the aerodynamic flow around it (especially the tips) in order for it to ”sit tight”.Clearly the Advance Diablo is (was) an extremely high performance foil-kite. But, despite being rather stable aerodynamically its inertia and design requires very precise flying and as the author expresses is maybe not suited for buggy- and landboard-kiting. Because of this Advance and I refunded your Diablo which seemed like the right thing to do as you were not happy. But others (mostly skilled enthousiasts) are quite happy with the kite inspite of the facts that made it unsuitable for you. I believe this is because it’s a very rewarding kite with exceptional performance that outweighs the effort of fully learning how to tame and master it–especially in non-gusty conditions (because in gusty conditions I agree with most of your concerns…).
Needless to say, this has not been a high volume product in Sweden. Actually, it was never meant to be a volume product from Advance in the first place. Quite unlike its successor–the inflatable Kobra, that has the benefits of the Diablo but at a much more forgiving manner…

Kolla in Advance KOBRA på http://www.kitesurfing.se . Detta är än så länge en ”dark horse” på den svenska kite-marknaden (däremot över 200 kiter sålda i Syd-Europa sen modellens lansering i april!!!) . Nu är detta absolut inte någon nybörjarkite så är det det du vill ha kan du helt bortse från inlägget!

Nej, jag får nog ta & ge mig! Har ju sett att framförallt El Rambolito har ca 10 timmar / dag närvaro här på Steffo… Hur i hela Skåne ska man lyckas knäcka en sån flitig forum-fighter. Du kanske vill ha ett par kiter–mina linor har du ju redan fått
